Keyboarding - 8th grade  (1/2 credit for High School)
 §120.4. Introduction to Keyboarding
Welcome to Keyboarding 2017-2018, your child will be learning how to touch type on the keyboard using a software program called Micro Type 5.0.  We will also be using Century 21 Book for some of the typing lessons and Business Document Formatting. I will be teaching some of the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Access. Students will be creating a career portfolio and are required to create a Plan of Study for High School. 
 

§130.112. Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance
The focus is on consumer practices and responsibilities, the money management process, decision-making skills, impact of technology, and preparation for human services careers.
Students will be learning the type of businesses that market goods and services. Students will also be learning the fundamental principles of money and how to save money!!
